Tests are manufactured in NJ by AZOG (FDA
registered, ISO certified, under cGMP)
and assembled and packaged in MA by Science with a Mission
Tests are not FDA approved and are only for use outside the US.
Shelf-life is 2 years from the date of manufacture and nothing
requires refrigeration.

The HIV test
uses a drop of whole blood. There is a Control line which lets you know
the test worked properly. The Test line forms if the sample contains
antibodies against HIV 1 or 2. Care should be taken to provide
counseling and medication options for anyone testing positive for HIV.

The Malaria test uses a drop of
whole blood. This test has the potential for three lines. As with all
our tests, there is a Control line which lets you know the test worked
properly. Since there are four different parasites that cause malaria,
Line 2 will detect lactate dehydrogenase, an enzyme which is present in
all four parasites. So if you get a line at 2, the patient has some form
of malaria. Line 1 will form only if the sample contains HRPII. This
tells you that the patient has Plasmodium falciparum (the parasite
responsible for 90% of all malarial deaths). The Malaria test comes in a
cassette format.

The Typhoid test can use serum or
plasma or an extracted stool sample. If you do not have a centrifuge
available, please check out our centrifuge page for some possible help.
The typhoid test is sold in a strip format. There is a Control line
which lets you know the test worked properly. The Test line forms if the
sample contains Salmonella typhi antigen.

The Hepatitis B test can use

B surface antigen (HBsAg).
